Transition in the making

Wednesday 9 March 2011

My Experience in Ghana- CTA-Web2.04Dev brought me there!

Am at Kotoka (Ghana)Airport and being checked, I breath a sigh of relief because my 12hours or so journey is finally over. Court Gardens beckons me first and there I am and its a sunday. The place is hot like some lakeside districts of Malawi. Never been here and its all fun.

Monday comes, the opening protocal is followed, group fotos are taken and the rest then the main business starts.Everything on the programme seems almost new to me except for facebook and the word google. I like this to the bone because now I know I am here for business.

The Realy Simple Syndication (RSS) and eish! the drop box, am like wow! whats this. Its already a marvel on the first day and I cannot imagine whats coming next. My interest in ICT skyrockets and for the first time I wish I was an ICT specialist. In Malawi, everyone is known by what they do, your interest cannot be recognized unless you have a certificate for it. Being an Agricultural Economist I am known as such and to them thats all...

Now the blogging, hey hey hey!! I like it. Am now an IT specialist in the making and that why you are watching me here...

The story continues to friday.... Will keep you posted
